3. Nature of the service
Albert Life is NOT a medical device, does not provide diagnosis, and does not replace medical care. In an emergency: 118 (Italy) · 144 (Switzerland) · 112 (EU).
4. Data processed
Account (email, profile), non-clinical presence and activity data, approximate location (if authorized), operational alerts, essential technical logs. No sale of data to third parties.
5. Purposes and legal bases
Service delivery (contract), operational security (legitimate interest), legal obligations. Consent is required for optional features (e.g. GPS location) configurable in the app.
6. Retention
Live positions: max 24 hours. Persisted wearable alerts: 30 days. Audit logs: 90 days. Account data: until deletion + technical grace period.
7. Recipients and transfers
EU infrastructure providers (e.g. Supabase Frankfurt). DPAs where required. No extra-EU transfers without adequate safeguards.
8. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection (GDPR Art. 15–22; Swiss nLPD). Requests to privacy@albertlife.app — response within 30 days.
9. Security
Encryption in transit, Row Level Security for data isolation, data minimization and honest signal presentation ("no false certainty").
